As we approach the end of this year, our ministry finds itself quite short of funds. If you are on our newsletter mailing list, you will see the deficit spelled out in detail. Suffice to say, we need your help so that we can meet budget. The gap is about 1/3 of our total budget. What this means is that we will cost cut, not tend to equipment that needs replacing, and have to put a really good project to expand on permanent hold. Please pray about helping us.

WXMD work complete
Saturday, December 7th, 2024
The work on changing out our antenna is complete now. Interestingly, we found lightning damage on the antenna, which explains why the mismatch was high. The antennas, divider and jumpers were all replaced. Once the work was completed late Monday, our engineers turned on the backup transmitter and we operated at about 60% power with good results until Friday evening. Having passed the "smoke test," our Chief Engineer then changed over to our main transmitter. The match remained good. As of Saturday morning, the match is holding up and things are finally normal. Our output ERP is now up to our licensed 17KW.
Thanks be to God for this good news. Thank you also if you are one of the individuals who have supported this project. We still have alot of money to spend now, as the climber invoice just came in just yesterday. If you would like to help pay for out tower climbers, you may donate on our website and give via credit card or PayPal. You may also send your gift via USPS to: Redeemer Broadcasting PO Box 1520 Olivebridge, NY 12461
Thank you!

Prayer Request
Friday, November 15th, 2024
A listener in Southern Maryland requests prayer for his nephew, age 24. The problem is that blood clots keep coming back. His condition has been like a roller coaster. He's had surgery and his healing is requested of the Lord. Pray for him, his family and that God will receive all the glory.
More WXMD work coming up
Thursday, October 3rd, 2024
The A/C replacement at WXMD is now complete. Thank you to those who helped us. The new AC unit is working reliably and keeping the equipment cool. What a relief that is!
We have one issue remaining at WXMD. There is a high reflected power indication outbound from our transmitter. Every indication is that this is due to our antennas/jumpers/divider combination at the top of the tower. We've been suspecting this for some time now. The antenna system is quite old, having been installed early 2014 - well over 10 years ago. During that time we have sustained many lightning strikes. We have never replaced our antenna and believe that now is the time. While we have men on the tower, we are planning to also replace the power divider and the two jumpers. That way, we have a clean "starting point." We replaced our coax with a larger diameter version, earlier in the year, and are confident that it is fine.
If you would like to participate in this necessary project at WXMD, we would welcome your gifts.
Replacing our AC at WXMD
Thursday, September 5th, 2024
Today, Thursday, 9/05, Hancock Refrigeration is replacing our old Bard A/C unit at WXMD. Its been running 24x7 since early 2014, and its well past time! We've had cooling failures increasingly, and it will be good to get a new unit in there. We are changing over ot a 1.5 Ton Mitsubishi minisplit. It should easily handle the load and hopefully, be more reliable.
During this work, we are running at slightly reduced power, but it should not be noticable.
Thanks for your prayers for us and for your support.
WXMD at full power again
Wednesday, August 28th, 2024
The problem with our main trasnmitter at WXMD has been fixed and we are at full power now. Thanks for your patience and your prayers. Our thanks also to local engineers Tim, Paul and George for all their good support. Next step is to work on our primary air conditioner that is schedued to be replaced.
WXMD on lower power
Monday, August 26th, 2024
WXMD is running at about half power. Our main transmitter took a failure yesterday and so, we are on the lower powered backup transmitter.
We are still sorting. Support has not been able to figure it out yet.
Stay tuned!

Since the WNEQ internet problem has gone away, this past week we have seen stability here in the network. Thanks for your prayers for us and for your support.
WNEQ Verizon internet bouncing - some interruptions
Friday, August 9th, 2024
We had some "bouncing" of our internet connection at WNEQ earlier this morning. This is a Verizon Fiber based circuit (not FiOS) and is enterprise grade. To get in touch with Verizon has been a nightmare and to get anything done means staying up during the night, when the techs who do not speak good English, make their crypic postings and expect you to log in to the website. They make a posting that complains that they cannot get into the building - of course they are not really trying at 3am in the morning. We then respond as quickly as we can, and give them the access information - but it just doesn't work very well. Verizon has everything they need to get inside our building and to get right next to our equipment. Ugggh. The circuit currrently is up, but no guarantees. Thanks for your patience!
