Redeemer is different from many radio stations. We are non-commercial, educational.   We don't sell advertising.  That means that "big money" has no sway over this ministry.   At this point, we don't even have underwriting.   I honestly don't know how we survive, but listeners send donations which keep us afloat. 

That is all by God's grace. 

That said, this is the time of year we hope to catch up on our budget.   We are short by $145,000 for the entire year.  Would you have a part today?  We would appreciate your kind support.

WXMD problems

We have problems at WXMD.   We are temporarily on lower power.   Update 12/20/25 : Our transmiter is OK.  We tested it at full power into a high power dummy load. But that means our problem is on the tower - likely up at the top.  We have placed a call to our tower climbers.  Not sure how soon they can get there.  In the meantime, although our reflected power is way too high, we are on the air, albeit with reduced coverage.

The new transmitter is now fully functional at WHVC 102.5 in the Hudson Valley.   Thank you, for your support of this unexpected expense, and for your cointinued regular support of the ministry.  

Update 2 on 102.5 FM signal

Thursday, October 30th, 2025

We are almost there.  The new transmitter has arrived.   We have been working on it the past two nights.  It's now ready to be installed.  Possibly as early as Sunday, 11/02 it will be installed.   The challenge has been that our President has been recovering from surgery!   All is well, but he is still sore. 

Please continue to pray for us - we will need some gifts to help with the purchase of this transmitter.   Pray too, that we can safely get to the site on Sunday, 11/02 and successfully do the install.

102.5 Signal update

We have had a failure on our main transmitter.  We've looked at the options and determined that it is prudent to replace the unit with a new one.  This is the main station with wide coverage and also feeds 3 translators.    Would you consider a one time gift to help us do this upgrade?    We've made a down payment and need to raise $10,000 to cover the remainder.     All gifts are tax deductible.  

How long it takes to get the new unit could be up to 2 weeks - that would take us to end of October!  We hope its not that late!    The vendor understands our urgency.

Temporary outage earlier this morning

We had an equipment problem earlier this morning.   It affected all stations and our internet stream.  Now the problem has been addressed, and we are back to normal.  We came back around 7:40am EST.   Thanks for your patience!  

A New Year!

Thank you for all your support. We are still sorting to figure out where we are with the donations.  It takes some time for the mail to clear and come into our Post Office Box 1520 in Olivebridge.   We're getting close to knowing where we really are.   It looks like will be short on our budget by perhaps $85K.  Not sure, so stay tuned!

As we approach the end of this year, our ministry finds itself quite short of funds.  If you are on our newsletter mailing list, you will see the deficit spelled out in detail.  Suffice to say, we need your help so that we can meet budget.   The gap is about 1/3 of our total budget.   What this means is that we will cost cut, not tend to equipment that needs replacing, and have to put a really good project to expand on permanent hold.   Please pray about helping us.
